DAY 1: ATHENS ARRIVAL

Arrival Athens. Meet, assist & transfer to your hotel in Athens center.

DAY 2: ATHENS CITY TOUR

Enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Athens, including a visit to the spectacular Acropolis and Mars Hill with sightseeing drive of the city. Afternoon free. Overnight in Athens.

DAY 3: ATHENS – CORINTH – MYCENAE – EPIDAURUS - NAFPLION

Photo stop at the Corinth Canal before reaching the ancient city of Corinth where the apostle Paul lived and preached. On to Mycenae where you can see remains of the prehistoric citadel fortified with Cyclopean walls, the Lionesses’ Gate, the Mycenaean Palace and the tomb of King Agamemnon. Continue on to Epidaurus with its famous well-preserved theatre. Return to Athens.

DAY 4 : ONE DAY CRUISE

Enjoy a cruise to the lovely Greek islands of Poros, Hydra & Aegina. First stop is Poros, delightful scenery marked by the low pine-wooded hills. Next Hydra the fashionable artists’ colony, a retreat of intellectuals and a favourite film location. Lunch is served on board ship. Our last port of call is Aegina, an attractive and tranquil resort place. Here we have the option of joining the excursion to the Temple of Aphaia; one of the finest and the best preserved of the Greek temples. Return to Athens early evening.

DAY 5: DELPHI

Today we drive north through the towns of Livadia and Arachova, famous for their colorful woolen rugs and carpets. Arrive at Delphi, the center of the Ancient world. On the slopes of Mt. Parnassos, in a landscape of unparalleled natural beauty and majesty, lies the archaeological site of Delphi. We visit the site and the Archaeological Museum containing such masterpieces of ancient Greek sculpture as the bronze Charioteer and the famous athlete Aghias. Return to Athens evening.

DAY 6 – SOUNION

Morning free. In the afternoon we have our excursion towards Cape Sounion, driving along the picturesque coastal road. A crowning feature of the tour is Cape Sounion, famous for its radiant sunsets and dominated by the Doric white marble Temple of Poseidon that overlooks the blue Aegean Sea. Return to the hotel in Athens.

DAY 7: ATHENS DEPARTURE

Transfer from the Hotel to the airport.
